Basic MarkupWebsite Stats User: truckersPwd: boss* Basic markup is well documented in the Text Formatting Rules page. Your wiki setup site has been configured for uploads. Refer to the upload documentation page for more information. Customized MarkupFor your site, we have added customized markup commands to make editing your site even easier. Most examples include the actual text typed when editing the page along with an example of how it will look when the page is viewed. On to the customized markup:The '=title' tagThe =title tag allows you to easily create a centered black 21px Sans-serif sequence of text. The '=subtitle' tagThe =subtitle tag allows you to easily create a black 18px Sans-serif sequence of text. Example:=subtitle This is a subtitle example This is a subtitle example
The '~~' sequenceWe have added another means to cause a line break in your documents using a two period ('~~') sequence. Example:This is the ~~ actual ~~ text, as written ~~ on the edit page.This is the actual text, as written on the edit page. The '=line1' tagThe =line1 tag will create a line to divide sections of your page. For example using:=line1will create: The '=line2' tagThe =line2 tag will create a line to divide sections of your page. For example using:=line2will create: Creating a LinkTo create a link to a new page, simply put 2 curly brackets {{}} around the word(s) that you would like the link to be named. For example, if the page may be called "New Page", simply write {{New Page}}. After saving the information, on the page you will see New Page with a question mark next to it. The question mark is the link into the new page. Click on it and you will see the edit box for the page entitled "New Page". After you create the new page and save your information, refresh the browser (by pressing F5 or the refresh button on the toolbar), and the question mark will have disappeared. You will see link for your new page in the appropriate color.Adding Images or DocumentsWhen you would like to add a new picture or a document to a page, the first thing you must do is upload the picture or document. Go to the uploads page by clicking on the hidden "Uploads" link located at the bottom of the page. 1. Click browse. A window should open: look for the image or document location in your computer. 2. Highlight the correct file and click "open". 3. Click the "Upload" button. If upload works, then on the top of the page it will say "fileename.jpg" successfully uploaded.
Creating links to outside websites, images, documents, sound filesTo create a link to another site, document, image or sound file - follow the steps below. If you would like to link to another site, there are 2 ways:
